Sheffield Refractories Limited Joncrete shotcrete and pumpable castables are refractory concretes designed to be placed using shotecreting or pumping equipment. These materials are mainly for larger installations, more than 15 tonnes as setting up and cleaning down times are longer than for casting or dry gunning. These materials can be cast but will have an extended setting time of more than 12 hours. Shotcreting pumps, supervisors and installers can be hired to place these materials. There are many products to chose from and our sales and technical staff will offer advice on materials for different applications
