Sheffield Refractories Limited Joncast LC low cement castables are refractory concretes with reduced amounts of high alumina cement. Low cement castables have superior high temperature characteristics, but are not always the right material for all applications. These materials need to be installed using high energy paddle type mixer, and with precise water addition and using vibration equipment to position for optimum results. Mixers, supervisors and installers can be hired to place these materials. There are many products to chose from and our sales and technical staff will offer advice on materials for different applications
